To create buzz around Mr Kipling’s Royal Wedding themed cakes - Bridal Fancies, Wedding Whirls and Princely Pies – our campaign received much media attention at a time when thousands of brands were jumping on the ‘Harry & Meghan’ bandwagon. Featuring on ITV’s This Morning and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, coverage exceeded KPIs by 250% and also included The Mirror Online, The Sun, The Daily Telegraph Online and The Sunday Telegraph as well as in leading bridal media.The multi-layered campaign drove further online engagement through bespoke social media assets including a nationwide competition for a couple marrying on the same day. Results included endorsements from Holly Willoughby, 130m reach, 44 pieces of coverage and 2m reach across social.
