Now in its third year, GSK’s Soft Drinks LIVE event
is an important highlight in the soft drinks calendar. Helping
to consolidate GSK’s category leading position, LIVE
2010 delivered a plethora of category and marketing investment
news, presented exciting NPD and gave journalists exclusive
access to senior GSK personnel.
This year, LIVE was held in the premium hospitality Diamond
Suite at The Emirates Stadium. The football theme ran throughout
the event, helping to communicate GSK’s news in a creative
and engaging way. Journalists were given ‘official
match day’ invitations, VP and General Manager of Nutritional
Healthcare Peter Harding pre-recorded a ‘sports style’ interview
and the day culminated with a stadium tour – a real
highlight!
Attended by 23 trade journalists, LIVE 2010 was a great
opportunity to demonstrate GSK’s commitment to the
trade press. Delivering bespoke information to the key food
service and out of home channels, Cirkle organised breakout
sessions which included guest speakers from ACS and HIM!,
as well as one-to-ones with GSK’s brand representatives.
Delivering coverage in key trade publications including The
Grocer, Marketing, IRN and Retail Express, LIVE 2010 was positively
received from all the top journalists. Overall another successful
demonstration of Leadership, Innovation, Vision
and Experience!
