Caroline Kinsey, Company Director at Cirkle,
has been crowned Britain’s Fittest Director
by the Daily Telegraph, a particularly impressive
achievement as she is the first female winner of this prestigious
title.
Caroline was also the only woman of the 26 shortlisted contenders
and had to undergo a gruelling assessment day to claim the
coveted title which tested strength, power, cardio respiratory,
balance and flexibility.
Caroline’s desire and determination saw her excel in
each category to win this fantastic accolade and in fact she
proved to be stronger than the men in the strength category,
despite women often being 5-15% weaker. She beat off stiff
competition from men who have been training and competing
for years and some that had even competed for Great Britain
internationally in cycling and triathlons.
Commenting on her success, Caroline said:
“I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge
and I am delighted to have won the title of Britain’s
Fittest Director. I always encourage a ‘Healthy
body, healthy mind’ philosophy in the work
place and support my team to achieve their own fitness goals.
Investing in fitness creates higher energy levels, better
motivation and lower absenteeism.”
As part of her prize, Caroline won £1,700 to donate
to a charity of choice – she chose the National Autistic
Society.
