Now in its sixth year, our hotly anticipated annual ‘Cirkle Oskars’ trade media awards ceremony took place at London’s The Dead Dolls House bar last week.

Our spoof ‘awards ceremony’ celebrates, thanks and rewards our trade media influencers across fmcg, grocery, pharmacy and foodservice sectors for their ongoing support and allows for much liquid refreshment and partying. Following in the footsteps of previous years' ‘hosts’ which have included Ab Fab’s Patsy, David Brent, Keith Lemon and ‘yeah baby’ Austin Powers, this year our 1920’s theme saw our dashing host as a character from The Great Gatsby.

Awards included ‘Coco Chanel Award’ - P3’s Carolyn Scott, ‘Al Capone Award’ - Chris Dillon Retail Express, ‘Speakeasy Expert’ - Eilis Cronin, IRN, ‘Baz Luhrhmann’ - Tristan O’Hana, Pub and Bar, with Newtrade publishing house scooping the ‘Art Deco’ Award.

We continue to be very proud of the fantastic relationships we have with key publishing houses across the board from publisher, editorial & commercial teams and we are the only agency to invest in this way with our bespoke annual event. The Oskars always receive rave reviews from our guests, with some really going to town with their outfits including a few guest appearances from Flapper Girls and Peaky Blinders’ characters.
