We’re loving this quote from one of our Associate Directors – just one of our 25 client-facing team members recently put through our intensive strategy training week (#stratweek).

This immersive training was the first in our new series of Training Takeover Weeks. The brainchild of our Board Director, Rikki Weir and Snr. Director Kate Gibson, daily sessions were headed up by our Planner extraordinaire (previous experience includes Sky, Durex, Citroen, Chivas and Dulux) who showcased best-in-class strategic thinking when approaching client and new business briefs. The week included multiple team breakout sessions and presentations back to each group. Different days dived into different parts of the strategic roadmap including ‘Interrogating the Brief’

(to establish what the ACTUAL problem is – often different to what the client may see as the problem!); establishing the resulting ‘Challenge’; ‘Mining Insights’ (to uncover actionable insights) and ultimately, the ‘Role of the Brand’ and overall Strategic Approach to the comms brief.

We’re extremely proud to be one of the first PR agencies to offer such concentrated strategy training and certainly the only one to do it over a week and across all levels in our team. This I.P. has been badged 'The Logic & The Magic’ … 'The Logic' being the strategic approach and 'The Magic' being the tactical ideas that follow from that. With overwhelming 10/10s for the training, our highly galvanised teams are still buzzing and this will continue to ensure we offer the optimum strategic counsel for our clients.
