Celebrating the magic of pregnancy and motherhood, our #BrilliantBumps social media campaign ran across the brand’s Facebook page, engaging target consumers with relevant content.

For our client, Babies R Us (the division of Toys R Us), we recently asked mums and mums-to-be about their experiences of pregnancy. Celebrating the magic of pregnancy and motherhood, our #BrilliantBumps social media campaign ran across the brand’s Facebook page, engaging target consumers with relevant content.

Crowd-sourcing Babies R Us Facebook fans and followers, we created the #Brilliant Bumps Report which captured authentic insights into the joys of pregnancy – from how pregnant mums bonded with their ‘bumps’ (including the names they gave their bumps e.g. Pickle, Sprog, Pip, Junior!) - to asking whether it was acceptable for people to ‘touch the bump’ … 97% said they would rather people didn’t!

As well as encouraging followers to upload snapshots of their bumps to the Babies R Us Facebook page, we showcased the report findings through Infographics that were shared across social media platforms. We also created the ‘R Baby Bag’ App for consumers to vote for, and win, the ultimate ‘hospital bag’ in preparation for their big day and new arrival(s).

Driving awareness and engagement for Babies R Us, we reached over 150k Facebook users and increased the brand’s Facebook community by +104% with the addition of 12k new fans.
