Phase two of our 'Aquafresh Inventors Academy’ competition saw Giselle Kalu, aged 10, win the nationwide crown with her ‘Brushing Explosions’ invention.

As well as her innovation being manufactured, she won £1k of equipment for her school and a sleepover for her entire class at The Science Museum. Dominic Wilcox, Chief Inventor at Little Inventors, and the brand’s iconic superhero, Captain Aquafresh,

headed up the prize giving ceremony during the sleepover. Supported with editorial and social media, our Aquafresh competition received nearly 400 entries and called for kids to help ‘make brush time fun’ as there are shockingly 170 operations per day in the UK to remove rotten teeth in children.

Campaign results included 30k unique microsite views, 60 pieces of editorial including national TV and radio and all messaging was 100% positive.
