Our first piece of work for our new global remit for Chivas Regal’s Royal Salute whisky, took place at the stylish 15 Bateman Street in the heart of Soho last week.

Staying true to the brand’s luxury credentials and royal heritage, we transformed the space to put a contemporary spin on the momentous ‘Regent’s Banquet of 1817’, when the Prince Regent hosted an extraordinary feast for the Grand Duke of Russsia. Re-creating the banquet, we used it to launch Royal Salute’s new gift pack, positioning it as the ‘ultimate Christmas gift’.

The evening, attended by leading luxury lifestyle journalists from titles such as FT How To Spend It, Esquire and Centurion, included an opulent drinks reception and spectacular four-course banquet. Created by an award-winning molecular gastronomy chef, the meal was a modern take on some of the dishes served at the original Regency feast (Larded Oysters, Portland Lobster & Exmoor Caviar, Goat’s Cheese & Beetroot Play Dough). Guests were treated to several Royal Salute tasting moments hosted by the brand's Director of Blending.

With 100% media attendance, the exclusive event was a huge success and we look forward to the resulting editorial coverage that will drive awareness and commercial impact.
