We’re hugely proud to have launched the new Thorntons concept store in the brand’s home town of Derby last week.

In a ‘military operation’, we ensured the smooth running of the opening and invited key media, bloggers and consumers to witness the chocolate-inspired ‘theatre’ and passion that represents the true Thorntons ‘experience’.

Bringing the brands’ strapline ‘Pass the Love On’ to life, the launch included experiential stands that showcased the hand craftsmanship that Thorntons is known for

including a Personalisation Chocolate Pod, an Ice Cream and Sundae Station, a Hot Chocolate Station and a Thorntons Dessert stand, where guests were matched with their perfect pairings. We generated social media buzz through blog content and videos and made made an impact in the trade too, with editorial appearing in fmcg bible, The Grocer, the next day as well as the lead story in Retail Week.
