How did we achieve high share of editorial voice, with 100% message delivery, in national media for the happy egg co?

Our strategic approach was to bring the brand’s fun-loving personality and superior hen welfare to life, using The Happy Egg Co’s farmer ambassador. Our ‘Cracking Invention’ activity put video content at the centre of it to drive influencer engagement, endorsement and editorial coverage. We created the UK’s most ‘egg-centric’ farmer and built a poached egg machine to make him the perfect eggs every morning.

Think Wallace & Gromit meets Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, with our bespoke, welded breakfast contraption made from steel and copper. Measuring 8’ with 13 motors and 8 microprocessors, water is pumped through a tube into a brass galley that drops eggs into a crane, which in turn activates the heat to boil the water, ready to receive the cracked egg for poached perfection.

As well as online coverage in The Mail, Metro and ITV, our ‘Cracking Invention’ collateral achieved widespread sharing, likes and positive comments across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
