Our team descended on The Future Laboratory’s Shoreditch HQ to launch one of the year’s highest profile tech innovations – new Energizer Eco Advanced, the world’s first high performance battery made with recycled batteries (six years in the making).

With some of the most influential thought leaders, industry bodies, NGO’s and journalists witnessing the launch, attendees included Global Action Plan, Valpak, WRAP, PV Tech, Bloomberg, T3, Convenience Stores, Sustainable Times and Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Leading environmentalist, campaigner and sustainability expert, Tony Juniper (former Executive Director of Friends of the Earth), led the panel which included Roland Manthorpe from The Future Laboratory who unveiled its ‘Re-Imagination’ Report in association with Energizer. The Report presented a credible, optimistic view of the vision for the future where the power of sustainability will help to revolutionise our lives and where waste becomes a premium resource.

Editorial hit the same day in the fmcg bible ‘The Grocer’, encouraging retailers to take steps to add value to the battery category which is worth £226m. “ I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Cirkle to bring the plan to life – the team is very strong, passionate and results driven.
