Hot on the heels of us being appointed to handle the product PR remit for Morrisons, we held our first influencer event in its new Colindale, North London store.

Strategically timed to coincide with Coeliac Awareness Week, our Free From Blogger event showcased the Morrisons’ one-stop-shop aisle that is devoted to Free From lines – from ambient right through to frozen.

Guests, including some of the UK’s most influential lifestyle bloggers, were treated to a gluten-free Afternoon Tea complete with Vegan Chocolate and

Raspberry Meringue Cupcakes and Vanilla Ombre Anti-Gravity Cake to demonstrate how Free From doesn’t mean sacrificing taste. Morrisons’ Free From buyer and nutritionist led Q&As in a compelling session that has already resulted in strong endorsements and images across multiple social platforms Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. As part of our two-way, ongoing relationship with these influential Bloggers, we continually welcome their input - actively listening to their insights to help shape the evolution of Morrisons’ Free Form offering.

This is just the first in a series of influencer activities that our Morrisons team will be creating and implementing to continue to enhance reputation and drive footfall for the brand in this fiercely competitive retail space.
