Celebrating Ferrero’s 50 amazing years in the UK, our trade team held an immersive brand experience event at London’s uber cool Ham Yard Hotel for key media influencers.

The ‘Golden Milestone’ event combined news with a feast of fun elements as we unveiled Ferrero’s high profile marketing plans for Nutella (the return of its ‘Your Nutella, Your Way’ personalised phrases on jars), a new £4.9m media investment in its recently acquired Thorntons masterbrand, new flavours across the Tic Tac portfolio, as well as the brand’s state-of-the-art retailer Shopper Experience Centre.

30+ journalists, including those from The Grocer, IRN, Marketing Week and Retail Express, got down and dirty, participating in a Nutella Bake Off (with a very convincing Paul Hollywood lookalike), making Nutella based cake pops, as well as designing their own Thorntons' Alphabet Truffles.
