This month our team helped Pernod Ricard UK throw open the doors of its new Chiswick head office to showcase the plans for Summer across its portfolio, with the country’s leading on-trade (bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants) and off-trade media in attendance. Exceeding our target by 30%, the event focussed on three key brands – Havana Club, Malibu and Jacob’s Creek.

With Mojitos being the number one cocktail of choice amongst consumers, we communicated the commercial opportunities that would be created for retailers and the on-trade by stocking up on Havana Club and offering it as the authentic serve for the classic Cuban Mojito. Journalists took part in Mojito Masterclasses led by brand ambassador Meimi Sanchez and heard about the brand’s 36 days of Cuban-inspired pop-ups in London markets this summer.

Meanwhile, to capitalise on National Pina Colada Day on July 10th, Malibu’s brand ambassador Emily Sharp engaged the media by inviting them to create a #PimpedColada using eye-catching garnishes to add the finishing touches to the perfect Pina Colada serve – which included such wonders as a Banana Dolphin!

Also taking place in the company’s specialist tasting room, was a snack & wine matching tasting session for Jacob’s Creek. As well as the unveiling of the brand’s Wimbledon sponsorship and Novak Djokovic partnership, we highlighted point of sale competitions for consumers to win Wimbledon Finals' tickets.
