In her role as Chairman of the PRCA's Consumer Group, our MD will be chairing the group's first event of 2015. Taking place on 4th Feb at The Guardian's offices, the provocative theme will be 'From Storytelling to Storydoing – should brand PR have a higher purpose?'
Prestigious panel speakers will include Chris McCafferty, MD and Founder of Kaper PR (he of Fairtrade 'Sick with Foncho' award winning campaign fame) , Giles Gibbons, Founder of Good Business, Joan O’Connor, Head of Brand PR, Coca-Cola, North and Western Europe and Nick Hindle, Senior Vice President, UK Corporate Affairs & North West Division Strategy & Alignment, McDonalds.
The panel and Q&A event will explore consumer PR’s ever expanding and influential role within the long term growth of brands. The event will specifically look at recent award winning PR campaigns that have had a social purpose at their heart and establish why they have been so successful.
The panel will also be asked – is it possible to get the right balance between protecting corporate reputations, whilst enhancing a brand’s credibility with consumers and at the same time driving sales for a brand.
