Last month our Pernod Ricard UK consumer team took part in the Portman Group’s Alcohol Marketing Training to further immerse themselves in the world of alcohol marketing and self-regulation.

Focusing on understanding the 'Codes of Practice' and how the rules are interpreted in the alcohol sector, the session looked at responsible messaging and standards, walking the team through a number of case studies as well as naming, packaging and promotion of alcoholic drinks.

An insightful session unveiling the do’s and don’ts of alcohol marketing, all members of the team achieved their accreditation with flying colours. This knowledge will continue to help shape our strategic thinking for our work with Pernod Ricard UK including its Absolut, Malibu, Brancott Estates, Jacobs Creek and Campo Viejo brands as well as its scotch portfolio.

The news comes off the back of a number of our team gaining their WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) accreditation.
