Part of our ongoing commitment to inspirational charitable causes, we’ve volunteered our consultancy services to support the Sumatran Orangutan Society’s (SOS) ‘Ape-ril’ campaign. Running throughout April, the campaign encourages faundraisers to unleash their inner ape by growing a beard or colouring their hair orang-utan orange to help raise funds for the charity.

Celebrity supporters including Marcus Brigstocke, Brian Blessed and Bill Oddie are lending their voices (and beards) by unleashing their inner ape for #Ape-ril, and Corrie's Kym Marsh has been quick to spread the word to her 500k Twitter followers.

As well as advising on national newspaper feature angles and coverage opportunities, we also contributed creative ideas for social content, seeded across social media platforms. Of course, no pro bono cause would be complete without some of our team posing with the charity’s ‘cut-out’ Jungle beards (see left).

SOS has an an incredible record of designing, funding and delivering frontline conservation projects in Sumatra which really work, including Orangutan rescue and forest restoration. The funds raised during Ape-ril will help SOS continue to grow, and by taking part in Ape-ril, consumers will help SOS save Orangutans from extinction, securing a future for them and their jungle homes.
