Last week our Pernod Ricard UK consumer team hosted an intimate VIP whisky tasting event for Longmorn whiskies, as we unveiled its latest luxury expressions.

Tastings for the Longmorn 16 year old and 23 year old whiskies were set up to ignite interest and engagement amongst some of the UK’s leading lifestyle and drink influencers.

To reflect the luxury credentials of the Longmorn brand, we chose the stunning Athenaeum hotel in Mayfair for the UK launch, which saw an exclusive group of 10 key journalists attend from the likes of Observer Food Monthly, London Evening Standard, Esquire and Tatler – achieving nearly double the KPI target.

The event was led by our trio of brand storytellers, Trevor Buckley (Master Distiller) , Phil Huckle (Brand Ambassador) and Sinea Weintz (Brand Ambassador), via a Q&A format with Phil interviewing Trevor about life on the distillery and the craftsmanship that went into producing the two luxury single malts – the highlight of the evening.
