To spread Kinder’s joy and help parents create magical family moments in the build up to Christmas, our consumer insights probed for the most imaginative things children wanted to see at Christmas.

As well as Santa on a spaceship and a sleigh pulled by Unicorns, a third of parents said a white Christmas would be their child’s ultimate wish. With two thirds of children never having experienced a white Christmas and 70% of those in the South East least likely to have enjoyed a festive snowfall, our team made dreams come true.

We brought real snow – a falling snow machine and cubes of snow that took 5 hours to lay - to a local South East village for the day to surprise some delighted kiddies. For a local news story, we used our influence to achieve heavyweight editorial coverage for Kinder, including our snowball photos, in national newspapers including The Daily Star, Sunday Mirror and Sunday People.

The stunt was part of Kinder’s seasonal campaign which will also see the brand asking Facebook fans to share their children’s most imaginative festive wishes for a chance to see more of them brought magically to life.
