After twelve years in marketing and PR roles at blue-chip companies, Caroline decided to 'go it alone' and founded Cirkle in 1998 - to what is now one of the UK's leading consumer brand PR and digital agencies. At the heart of its success lies Caroline’s energy, drive and positivity and a fundamental belief that it is possible to balance brilliant campaign work and client satisfaction, with strong commercial nous and unswerving integrity. Recruiting the best talent and engendering trust in her staff, Caroline has built an innovative, results-oriented business model that is fiercely protective of the teams’ work/life balance, which has helped Cirkle to scoop multiple awards for employee engagement. In April 2018 Caroline changed the shareholding structure of Cirkle, making it the first PRCA-accredited agency to become a majority employee-owned business, mirroring the John Lewis model and making all the team “partners”. Caroline lives and breathes her own values which include 'Maximising Potential', 'Whole-Heartedness', 'Dignified Resilience' and 'Highlighter Yellow' - always looking for the positive opportunity in every challenge. Caroline is a Fellow of the PRCA, inaugural Chairman of PRCA PR Council, the UK’s Female Entrepreneur of the Year (Fast Growth Business Awards), PRCA’s Agency Head of the Year and a previous winner of the Daily Telegraph’s Britain’s Fittest Director! Caroline has also been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Bedfordshire for services to Marketing/PR. She is currently training for her first half-ironman challenge.
